Issues that this update fixes
Symptoms
When you run a Lync Server 2013 Web Conf Data tool-related command, you receive following error message in a dialog box:
WebConfDataTool.exe has stopped working. A problem causes the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Note The command that you run may be as follows:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2013\ResKit> .\WebConfDataTool.exe /user:testuser@mydomain.com /action:delete Additionally, you receive the following exception output:
Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly
'Microsoft.Rtc.Management.Hosted, Version=5.0.0.0,Culture=neutral, Public KeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'
or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Cause
This issue occurs because the OCSReskit.msi installation package of Lync Server 2013 Resource Kit Tools did not include all the files that are required to run the Web Conf Data tool.
