ISSUE

Modal dialogs may appear in English instead of Chinese Simplified. This only occurs on builds 16.16.210.7 and 16.16.114.6 of Excel for Mac 2016.

Examples of modal dialogs: Preferences, Filter, Sort.

Note: Menus and runtime dialogs are not affected.

STATUS: FIXED

This issue has been fixed in version 16.16.8 and higher. To get the latest update, open Excel for Mac, go to the Help > Check for Updates menu, and follow the instructions in the AutoUpdate app.
