Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You receive an email message in HTML format in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) environment.
-
The email message has images and text in the message body.
-
You save the email message on your computer. For example, you drag the email message on your computer that is saved as an .msg file.
-
You open the saved email message file.
In this scenario, the message body is visible. However, when you try to forward or reply to the email message, the message body is empty.
Cause
This issue occurs because the PR_RTF_IN_SYNC property is returned as False which indicates that Outlook cannot use the PR_RTF_COMPRESSED body of the saved email message when you try to forward or reply on the email message.
