Consider the following scenarion in Inventory in Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 and in Microsoft Dynamics SL 6.5. You use the Transaction Import process to create new inventory IDs in the Inventory Items (10.250.00) screen. You notice that the process did not import the new inventory ids. Additionally, when you review the Microsoft Dynamics SL event log, you see the following message:
