SYMPTOMS
When you use eConnect in the Rapid Migration tool for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0, you receive the following error message:
COM Exception occurred during use of eConnect. Most probably reason is insufficient rights on SQL Server. Original exception message is: The server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect. Check the username and password. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000401A)
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

Click Start , point to Administrative Tools , and then click Component Services . |

2. |
Expand Component Services , expand Computers , expand My Computer , expand COM+ Applications , and then expand eConnect 10 for Microsoft Dynamics GP . |

3. |
Right-click eConnect 10 for Microsoft Dynamics GP , and then click Properties . |
|
4. |
On the Identity tab, type a password in the Password field. |
|
5. |
Click Apply , and then click OK. |
