Symptoms
Assume that you have a Server Message Block (SMB) share that uses a call to the NetShareSetInfo function on a Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2-based computer. In this situation, the SMB share cannot apply any changes.
Cause
This issue occurs because an error occurs in the NetShareSetInfo function.
Resolution
