Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device.

  • You repeatedly¬†perform the following operations quickly:

    • You use a file browser to open a folder that contains some files and subdirectories.

    • You close the file browser quickly.

In this scenario, a memory leak may occur in the device.

Cause

This issue occurs because the file browser repeatedly allocates the memory to cache the icons information in the folder.
