When you run Session Integrator Clients in a multi-server environment, the Session Integrator Client may be assigned a remote Session Integrator Server Service instead of the local service. This problem occurs if you request a Logical Unit (LU) out of an LU pool and the remote server also has LUs in the pool.
This update makes sure that the local Session Integrator Service is preferred over the remote service if the local service is available.
The fix that resolves this problem is included in the following cumulative updates for Host Integration Server:
Cumulative Update 2 for Host Integration Server 2016
