Symptoms
BizTalk Server lets you customize ID field enumerations in the service (envelope) schema. This lets you receive or send interchanges that have nonstandard values (outside the set of values that are defined by the X12 or EDIFACT standards body) in the sender or receiver ID fields in the envelope. It also lets you change the qualifiers that are available in drop-down lists for header values in agreement property definitions.
A deployed modified envelope schema applies to all parties. The change also affects RosettaNet home and partner organizations. After a customized envelope schema is deployed, you can no longer open the home or partner organization in the RosettaNet admin console. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following:Unable to cast object of type 'System.DBNull' of type 'System.String'
