Symptoms
When you use the Microsoft Application Request Routing (ARR) 2.5 module on a computer that is running Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 or IIS 7.5, you may encounter one of the following issues.
Issue 1
The W3wp.exe process crashes. Additionally, an event that resembles the following is logged in the Application log:
Issue 2
When you enable the request consolidation feature and the disk-based caching feature in an ARR server farm, the first request for Smooth Streaming content fails, and the content is not cached.
Note A network trace of the request shows that the TCP connection is reset from the server. Successive requests for the same content are cached and served correctly.
