This article describes an issue in which the previous visual state of a custom control is lost when you unload and then reload the control in a Microsoft Silverlight for Windows Embedded (SWE) application in Windows Embedded Compact 2013. An update is available to fix this issue. Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.
Symptoms
You have an SWE application that has a custom control and buttons to do the following operations in Windows Embedded Compact 2013:
-
Unload control
-
Reload control
-
Set state
When you run the application and then select the Set state button, the custom control visual state changes (not changing to the default state). If you select the Unload control button and then select Reload control, the visual tree (visual) state is the default state, and the previous visual state is lost.
