Bahnschrift Rounded is a variation of the typeface Bahnschrift, a sans serif typeface that looks mechanically drawn and deceptively simple. This Rounded version has round ends to all the strokes, giving it a less harsh and austere look and making it softer and more friendly. It still looks ostentatiously functional, but with a bit more of a human feeling.
Type designer Aaron Bell designed Bahnschrift Rounded as an addition to the Bahnschrift family. It comes in two weights, Regular and Bold. It does not have an italic companion style. Like the original Bahnschrift, the Rounded version has exactly the same character widths in both Regular and Bold weights, so changing from one weight to the other will not affect the length of a line. This font was added to Microsoft Office in 2025.
