Introduction

This article describes the changes introduced to Microsoft System Center 2025 Virtual Machine Manager with this hotfix. This article also contains the installation instructions for this hotfix.

This hotfix is only for the VMM Console and there are no updates to the VMM server or the Guest Agent as part of this hotfix.

Issue that is fixed

After applying this hotfix, Virtual Machine Manager will support Chinese language GB standard (GB18030-2022).

Prerequisites

This hotfix must be applied on SCVMM 2025 General Availability version. Ensure the VMM server, VMM console and the VMM guest agent are updated to the SCVMM 2025 General Availability version before applying this hotfix.

Installation Instructions

Obtain the installation files from the Microsoft Download catalog: Download the hotfix from here.
To install the hotfix package, run the following command from an elevated command prompt:msiexec /p kb5068697_AdminConsole_amd64.msp /l*v logc.txt
