  • When you browse to a SharePoint wiki site or a SharePoint asset library by using Internet Explorer 10 or Internet Explorer 11, the rating control is not rendered.

  • You use the Image with formatting and constraints for publishing site column in a custom list of a SharePoint publishing site. Then, you insert a picture that contains a hyperlink into the custom list. When you click the picture, the hyperlink does not work.

  • Assume that you configure the User Profile service application (UPA) for a SharePoint 2013 site, and you enable the outgoing email feature. Then, you run the "My Site Suggestions Email Job" timer job. In this situation, you receive a suggestions email that may contain invalid links.

  • Assume that you create a SharePoint 2013 page by using a page layout that contains a SocialCommentControl control so that the users can post comments on this page. After you install the July 2014 cumulative update for SharePoint 2013, you cannot see the comments from the other users on this page.

  • When you browse to the term store navigation tool in SharePoint 2013 by using Internet Explorer 9, Internet Explorer 10 or Internet Explorer 11, the navigation arrows underneath a term set are not rendered when the term set contains several terms.

  • Consider the following scenario:

    • You configure a workflow for a SharePoint 2013 list, and add your account to the Approvers list.

    • You start a workflow, for example, by adding a new item to the list, the workflow then creates a task.

    • As one of the approvers, you receive an email that is associated with the task, and then you click the Open this task button to open the task.

In this scenario, the associated task is not opened. Additionally, you receive the following error message:

Outlook cannot open a new form. Form Template: The file is not a valid XML document.

  • Assume that you create some replicas in an index partition in a SharePoint 2013 Search service application. When one or more replicas are in decreased status, you may experience a search outage.

  • After you install the August 2014, September 2014 or October 2014 cumulative update for SharePoint 2013, the OpenSearch result source is not available when you search in a SharePoint site.

  • You may be unable to crawl a Project Server 2010 farm from a SharePoint 2013 farm. Additionally, you may receive the following error message:

    The input ACL is invalid.

This occurs when the Project Server 2010 farm is classic authentication (NTLM) and the SharePoint 2013 farm uses Claims.
