Changing the language in Clipchamp for work and school accounts

In theĀ Clipchamp video editor for work and school, the language of the UI is determined by the language you set for Windows 10/11 on your computer if you're using the Clipchamp desktop app or by the language set for your work OneDrive/SharePoint if you're using Clipchamp in the browser.

When you access Clipchamp in its Windows desktop app, you can change the language of the video editor by changing the Windows display language.

When you access Clipchamp in the browser and depending on the type of Microsoft 365Ā environment that is set up in your organization, you canĀ change the language of the video editor

  • in your user profile settings at myaccount.microsoft.com or, if changing the language there does not lead to it getting updated in Clipchamp,

  • by selecting a preferred language on yourĀ SharePoint personal profile page. This works if letting users selectĀ a preferred language is enabled by the administrator of your Microsoft 365 organization, and if the language you'd like to use is enabled by your SharePoint admin in the SharePoint site's language settings.

Generally, the Clipchamp for work and school user interface is available in the languagesĀ that OneDrive and SharePoint in Microsoft 365Ā support. See this article for the full list of languages.

Changing the language in Clipchamp for personal accounts

In theĀ Clipchamp video editor for personal accounts, the user interface will usually display automatically in your preferred language depending on your browser settings. In the Clipchamp desktop app for Windows, the same language settings apply.

If the app loads in its default language (English) and you would like to change this, you can switch to another language on the sign-in page via the dropdown menu on the top right.

The same language switcher is available after logging in on your account'sĀ settings page.
