Fiddler is a third-party (non-Microsoft) web debugging proxy that logs all HTTP(S) traffic between a user's computer and the Internet. It includes a powerful, event-based scripting subsystem (Fiddler Tracer), and can be extended by using any Microsoft .NET language.
Run Fiddler Trace in Get Help
Note:Â Fiddler Trace can only be run in Get Help with the assistance of Microsoft Support.
To run Fiddler Trace in Get Help, follow these steps:

Close all open applications before you use Fiddler Trace.

Use the link provided by Microsoft Support to launch Fiddler Trace in Get Help.

Enter the passcode provided by Microsoft Support, and then select Next.

Once the passcode is validated, a warning appears that you may be prompted to install a certificate for decrypting HTTPS network traffic. Select Next.

If a Security Warning window to install a certificate appears, select Yes to install the required certificate.
ÂWarning: The certificate window may open behind the Get Help window.

Select Start to enable trace log capture.
ÂNote: The log file(s) may contain personal information. Review the log file(s) before sending to Microsoft. You have the option to decide whether to send the log file(s) or not.

Reproduce the issue you are experiencing, then return to the window and select Stop. This will stop the recording and create the log file(s).

If you're satisfied with the information that Get Help has collected, follow the instructions in the Get Help window to upload the log file(s) to Microsoft.

On the Microsoft Support Secure File Exchange website, select Add files to upload the log file(s).

Once you have successfully uploaded the log file(s), contact Microsoft Support for next steps.
