We're always seeking ways to simplify the class team experience. After hearing your feedback that educators and students need quicker and easier access to Assignments and other class tools, we're introducing new and improved navigation for class teams. Now, you can access your class tools from your main class team navigation instead of in the General channel.
What's changing
Class tools like Assignments, Grades, Class Notebook, and Insights will move from the General channel to your main class team navigation. Now, you can access them no matter what you're viewing in your class.
What's staying the same
All of your channels and any apps you've added will stay in the same place, and you'll be able to access them the same way. Files, posts, assignments, and other course content you've added to your class team will be not be affected by this change.
Note: If you are using the list layout option for your class teams instead of grid, your navigation will not change.
