Symptoms
When a user tries to select history messages in a conversation window in Microsoft Lync 2013, the user may encounter the following issues:

When the user tries to select a message from right to left or drags mouse to the right side of the message, the pointer jumps back to the beginning of the message.

The user cannot use the Shift key to extend selected content.

The user cannot easily select partial content in a single label.

Incorrect content may be selected when the user selects from multiple labels.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the following update:
