Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
There are two entities in Microsoft Master Data Services (MDS) in Microsoft SQL Server 2012.
-
The first entity references the second entity as a Domain Based Attribute (DBA).
-
You create a business rule to synchronize the data in the first entity with the data in the second entity.
-
You use entity-based staging to update the member data in the second entity.
-
You apply the business rule.
In this scenario, the data for dependent DBA members is not updated in the first entity.
