Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You configure German SQL Server 2014 Master Data Services (MDS) in a German Windows operating system.

  • You create a Date Attribute, and enter DD.MM.YYYY formatted values.

  • You create a business rule that checks whether the Date Attribute is blank, and if the answer is "yes," sets its value to a DD.MM.YYYY formatted date value.

  • You run the business rule.
