Symptoms
Assume that you configure a Cache connection manager to use a cache file in a Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Integration Services (SSIS 2014) package. And then you configure two or more concurrent Lookup transformations that consume the same Cache connection manager. When you execute the SSIS package, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
<Lookup Task> failed the pre-execute phase and returned error code 0xC020930C.
Failed to load the cache from file, "<Cache File Path>".
The raw adapter attempted to read 8 bytes in the input file for column "<Join Key>" with <lineage ID>, but there was an error. The error returned from the operating system should have been previously reported.
Cannot read 8 bytes from file "<Cache File Path>". The cause of the failure should have been previously reported.
