Summary

When you perform a full-text search in SQL Server 2016, you do not always receive the expected results.

For example, assume that you have the word Hello_World. In SQL Server full-text Search, the word is now treated as three separate words, Hello_world, Hello, and World.

Or, when you search for words by using inflections, different results might be returned. For example, the word can, now has inflections such as cannot, can's, can't, canned, canning, cans, and cans'.
