Symptoms

When you run a query to access LOB columns through In-Memory OLTP (formerly known as Hekaton), the query fails, and you receive the following out-of-memory error message:

Msg 701, Level 17, State 170, LineNumber There is insufficient system memory in resource pool 'default' to run this query.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is included in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:
