Summary

This update adds the ability to clone Filestream, FileTable, and common language runtime (CLR) objects by using DBCC CLONEDATABASE (Transact-SQL) in SQL Server 2014 and 2016. This update also allows for cloning with NO_STATISTICS.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:

    Cumulative Update 2 for SQL Server 2016 SP1

    Cumulative Update 3 for SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 2
