Symptoms
When you use Data Quality Client to run a data cleanse against a view in SQL Server 2016 Data Quality Services, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
The data source table with id 'DatabaseName.SchemaName.TableName' was not found while adding to the repository. Check whether the table is accessible by DQS.
Resolution
The fix for this issue is included in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. Check out the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:
Workaround
To work around this problem, use a table instead of a view to perform the cleanse.
