Symptoms
Assume that you have a table that has a Clustered Columnstore Index (CCI) in Microsoft SQL Server 2016. When you run a query that contains a batch-mode hash join, an access violation may occur.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:

Workaround
To work around this issue, you can enable Trace Flag (TF) 9453 to disable batch-mode.
