Symptoms
Assume that you have full-text index on a computed large object (LOB) column for a table in SQL Server 2019. When batch mode is enabled for queries on that table, the internal query that populates the full-text index may receive an assertion error.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
