Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You deploy a very large number of schemas that have the same message type. (That is, the same namespace and root node name.)

When you send a message of this message type through the port, the BizTalk host instance stops responding. Additionally, the following errors are logged in the event log:

  • For 64-bit host instance:

Faulting application name: BTSNTSvc64.exe, version: <VersionNumber>, time stamp: <TimeStamp>

Faulting module name: BTSDBAccessor.DLL, version: <VersionNumber>, time stamp: <TimeStamp>

  • For 32-bit host instance:

Faulting application name: BTSNTSvc.exe, version: <VersionNumber>, time stamp: <TimeStamp>

Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: <VersionNumber>, time stamp: <TimeStamp>
