Summary
After installing Windows Server 2025, you might notice that some feature names and feature descriptions in the Add Roles and Features wizard in Server Manager appear in corrupted text. This issue specifically affects Windows Admin Center Setup and Network ATC features in the Add Roles and Features wizard. Server Manager enables IT professionals to manage local and remote servers from their desktops without requiring physical access or remote desktop connections.Â
Users might encounter this issue after running Server Manager, navigating through the Add Roles and Features wizard, selecting the Select features screen, and scrolling to the bottom of the feature list. Reports received so far indicate that the Chinese, Japanese and French versions are affected by this issue, but all non-English versions of Windows Server 2025 are potentially impacted by this issue.
Resolution
​​​​​​​This issue is resolved by the Windows Server 2025 updates released on and after October 14, 2025 (KB5066835). We recommend you install the latest update for your device as it contains important improvements and issue resolutions, including this one.Â
