Fixes the following issue:
Assume that you create an Office document that contains ActiveX controls. After you install Microsoft Office 2010 December 9, 2014 security update, when you try to insert an ActiveX control into the document, you may receive a "Cannot insert object" error message, and the ActiveX control is not inserted. Additionally, the existing ActiveX controls in the document are not enabled. For example, when you click a command button that is associated with a Click event, the Click event is not triggered. Important For this fix to be fully effective, you also have to apply the other patches for Office 2010 that are listed in the "Resolution" section of the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
