MSN Partners can earn revenue through ad revenue sharing, and if enabled, through publisher support. Use the Monetization settings in the MSN Partner Hub to track earnings, configure payment, and manage monetization features.

Note: Publisher support options are available only to certain partner types. If you don’t see the monetization options for publisher support, these features may not apply to your account.

How MSN Partners earn revenue

Ad revenue sharing

MSN Partners receive a share of advertising revenue from ads that appear alongside their full-length content. Ad revenue sharing is always on and does not require configuration.

Types of Ads

  • Display ads are static and based on the content’s vertical or market.

  • Native ads are dynamic and contextually aligned with the content.

Earnings report

  • Published monthly on the 15th and available in the Earnings report tab.

  • Tracks total revenue generated from your content.

  • The first payment is initiated 16 days after the end of your first full month of activity.

  • Partners receive a dashboard notification each time a payment is processed.

Setting up payments

To receive earnings, configure a Payment account following the instructions found on How to set up a payment account. MSN uses a secure, third-party payment processor (Stripe) to transfer funds.

  • Ensure your bank information is correctly connected via Stripe.

  • For issues related to Stripe, contact Stripe Support.
