Introduction

Portal capabilities version 9.1.2.22 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 is now generally available for all portals. This article describes the features and enhancements that were included in this update, as well as the scope of the release. For a full list of all portal updates released to date and their corresponding KB articles, please reference this KB article.

Portal Capabilities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Version 9.1.2.22 Release

This release includes only an updated portal host and no solution package updates. The portal host will automatically be updated by Microsoft.

Portal Capabilities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Version 9.1.2.22 Release

Portal host Version 9.1.2.22 resolves the following issues:

  • If a record update failed due to server side validation, subsequent attempts to update records will fail intermittently even if validation condition is fixed.

  • Generic Error message is shown when the comment text in comment box of Knowledge Article page exceeds max character limit of 2000 characters.

  • Web Page Changes which are in draft mode and are not published doesn't appear on Portal even if Preview mode is On.

  • Terms and Conditions Page shows Page Not found page when the Portal language is changed by user.

  • Required Fields present in edit forms of the portal gets updated during save of record even if the field is marked as read only.

  • If a required field present on an entity form is marked as read only, an error would be thrown when the record will get updated from Portal

  • Relative date filters like Last 7 days, Last month etc will not show all the records when timezone of the Portal user and Dynamics Organization is different

  • Customer will see stale data on an entity form after updating the record and navigating back to same webpage with a custom URL parameter.
