Issue

Starting on 2020-07-30, the Office 365 Outlook connector was renamed to Microsoft 365 Outlook connector.  As a consequence, customers searching for the Office 365 Outlook connector could not find it among the list of connectors.  This was an issue for anyone that had dropped the connector and then tried to re-add it or if they were trying to newly add the connector to a Power App.  The plan is to rename the connector back to its original name: "Office 365 Outlook connector".

Root Cause

The “Office 365 Outlook” connector was renamed to “Microsoft 365 Outlook”.   Existing running Power Apps applications were not affected.   However, certain editing scenarios were affected.  After the rename of the connector, if you deleted the “Office 365 Outlook” connector from your Power App, you could not re-add then the same “Office 365 Outlook” connector back to your app as it had been renamed.

How to fix this issue

A temporary work-around is to use the "Microsoft 365 Outlook" connector.   If you add the “Microsoft 365 Outlook” connector into your application you will also need to re-edit your formulas to refer to “Microsoft 365 Outlook” rather than “Office 365 Outlook”.

However, the plan is to rename the connector back to "Office 365 Outlook".  Once that occurs, if you dropped the “Office 365 Outlook” connector and then re-added the “Microsoft 365 Outlook” connector, you will need to drop the “Microsoft 365 Outlook” connector and re-add Office 365 Outlook” connector.
