Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:
-
You have a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment that is running Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services (SSIS).
-
You create a query against the SQL server source.
-
In the destination object, you selected to use OpenRowset with Fastload.
In this scenario, the query against the SQL server source returns no data. Additionally an error is generated on the destination object that points to the DB2 host. The error causes the package to fail. You receive the following error message:
Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005.
An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft DB2 OLE DB Provider" Hresult: 0x80004005 Description: "Unspecified error". An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft DB2 OLE DB Provider" Hresult: 0x80040E14 Description: "".Resolution
