When students complete a Learning Zone lesson in an assignment, their scores sync automatically. Here's how to review their work, understand the grading, and provide feedback.
How grading works
Learning Zone scores are based on completion percentage. When a student finishes a lesson, their completion percentage becomes their grade:
-
100% completion = full points
-
75% completion = 75% of the total points (e.g., 75 out of 100)
-
Scores sync automatically as students progress
Note:Â Scores from Learning Zone are final and cannot be manually changed in Teams Assignments or your LMS.

Tips
-
Scores update as students progress through the lesson — you don't need to wait for them to finish to see partial progress.
-
Due date enforcement happens in Teams Assignments or your LMS, not in Learning Zone. Students can still access the lesson after the due date if late turn-ins are allowed.
-
Learning Zone lessons work with individual assignments only, not group assignments.
-
If a student completes the lesson, the assignment is automatically turned in — you don't need to remind them.
