Turn your paper assignments into PDFs directly in Teams. When your assignment requires handwritten work, you can scan and submit it as a PDF from your phone using the Teams mobile app.

Submit scanned work to an assignment

  1. Open the Teams app on your phone.

  2. Tap the Assignments tab.

  3. Select the assignment you want to submit work for.

  4. Select Attach under the My work section.

  5. Choose Scan to PDF.

  6. Use your phone’s camera to capture your work.

    1. Align your paper in the frame.

    2. Tap the shutter button to scan.

    3. Adjust corners or crop if needed.

  7. Tap Review and Edit or Scan all to scan more pages.

  8. You can Crop, Ink, Text, Rotate, or Delete.

  9. You can Reorder or Add more.

  10. When you're done, select Finish to add your work to your assignment.

  11. When you're ready to turn in your work, select Turn in.
