Symptoms
When reporting either partial or full quantity as finished from the production or batch order, warehouse work can be generated to put away the materials from the production output location to the a final location in the warehouse. In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, you could only have one output location for a warehouse. This meant that all production lines within the warehouse would report as finished to the same output location.
Resolution
The changes in the hotfix resolve this issue.
In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, you could define only one default a production output location for each warehouse. If you install this hotfix, you can specify a production output location for each production line. The production line is defined by the production route. When reporting a production order or batch order as finished, the output location for the resource group that is associated with the last operation on the route will be used. If an output location is not defined for the resource group for the last operation, the default production output location for the warehouse is used.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply the hotfix.
