This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for all regions.


Assume that the budget control is enabled in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Additionally, there are budget transactions, actual transactions and encumbrance transactions recorded for a project. In this situation, when you run the "Budget control activity by project" report, the report displays no data.


This problem occurs because the "Budget control activity by project" report does not include certain project-related transactions that include transactions for advanced ledger entries, for purchase orders and for invoices.


This problem is fixed in Cumulative Update 2 for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
