Symptoms

On a computer that is running Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2, applications that use the Windows Imaging Component (WIC) APIs may crash when the CIcmColorTransform function tries to free memory that is already freed.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the November 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2.
