After you apply hotfix 2584828 in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009, the Overdue Balance field is calculated by summarizing the Amount values incorrectly in the Customer Statistics dialog box. Therefore, the Overdue Balance field displays the full amount even if a partial payment is made.

Code changes

Note Always test code fixes in a controlled environment before you apply the fixes to your production computers.
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Add a new function in the Customer table (18) as follows:

    PROCEDURE CalcOverDueBalance@1100() OverDueBalance : Decimal;
    VAR
    CustLedgerEntry@1102 : Record 21;
    BEGIN
    CustLedgerEntry.SETCURRENTKEY("Customer No.",Open,Positive,"Due Date","Currency Code");
    CustLedgerEntry.SETRANGE("Customer No.","No.");
    CustLedgerEntry.SETRANGE(Open,TRUE);
    CustLedgerEntry.SETFILTER("Due Date",'<%1',WORKDATE);
    IF CustLedgerEntry.FINDSET THEN
    REPEAT
    CustLedgerEntry.CALCFIELDS("Remaining Amt. (LCY)");
    OverDueBalance += CustLedgerEntry."Remaining Amt. (LCY)";
    UNTIL CustLedgerEntry.NEXT = 0;
    END;
  2. Add a new function in the Vendor table (23) as follows:

    PROCEDURE CalcOverDueBalance@1100() OverDueBalance : Decimal;
    VAR
    VendLedgerEntry@1102 : Record 25;
    BEGIN
    VendLedgerEntry.SETCURRENTKEY("Vendor No.",Open,Positive,"Due Date","Currency Code");
    VendLedgerEntry.SETRANGE("Vendor No.","No.");
    VendLedgerEntry.SETRANGE(Open,TRUE);
    VendLedgerEntry.SETFILTER("Due Date",'<%1',WORKDATE);
    IF VendLedgerEntry.FINDSET THEN
    REPEAT
    VendLedgerEntry.CALCFIELDS("Remaining Amt. (LCY)");
    OverDueBalance += VendLedgerEntry."Remaining Amt. (LCY)";
    UNTIL VendLedgerEntry.NEXT = 0;
    END;
  3. Change the code in the Customer Statistics form (151) as follows:
    Existing code
