Symptoms

Assume that you view the policy settings of a Group Policy Object (GPO) on the Settings tab in Microsoft Group Policy Management Console (GPMC). If the GPO contains a Windows Firewall rule that defines a local port range, the range of ports is not displayed.For example, you add the following individual ports and a range of ports to the policy:

Local ports specified When you view the policy settings, you expect to see all the added values displayed. However, you see only the individual ports displayed. You do not see the range of ports.

To resolve this problem in Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2, install update 2919355.To resolve this problem in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, install the hotfix that is described in this article.
