  • English–Canada (en-ca)

Symptoms

Assume that you use the adjustment to balance the bank account reconciliation in the North American version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 and of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1). If you print the Bank Rec Test Report report in the RoleTailored client (RTC), the system prints the following warning message in the Bank Rec Test Report unexpectedly:

Warning! Balance must be zero for adjustments.

However, the system does not print the warning message in the Classic client.

    and ReportItems!textbox_Adjustments_Amount.Value <>0,False,True)

    ...

    Replacement code

    ...

    // Add the following line.
    =IIF(((Fields!Adjustments__Document_No__.Value = "" and Previous(Fields!Adjustments__Document_No__.Value) <> "" and Fields!Bank_Rec__Header__Statement_No__.Value = Previous(Fields!Bank_Rec__Header__Statement_No__.Value) and Fields!Bank_Rec__Header__Bank_Account_No__.Value = Previous(Fields!Bank_Rec__Header__Bank_Account_No__.Value)) or (Fields!Adjustments__Document_No__.Value <> "" and RowNumber("table1_Group1")= CountRows("table1_Group1"))) and Fields!PrintDetails.Value and Fields!PrintAdjustments.Value
    and (ReportItems!textbox_Adjustments_Amount.Value+ReportItems!textbox_BalAmount.Value)<>0,False,True)

    ...
  4. Exit Visual Studio Report Designer, and then save the changes.
