The message may appear when you tap on Buy Now or Restore Purchase from the Buy page in the Office Mobile for iPhone app.

This is usually caused by internet connection issues. You can tap the top left arrow on the Buy page to refresh it and tap Buy Now or Restore Purchase again. If the message continues to occur, check your iPhone for internet connection issues and try the solutions provided in this Apple support page or contact Apple support.

The message may appear if you're using an Apple ID that already has a Microsoft Office subscription tied to it and you tap on Buy Now from the Buy page in the Office Mobile for iPhone app.

To fix this issue, you can:

  • Try tapping Restore Purchase instead of Buy Now if you're having problems with the app and you already bought the Office subscription through Apple.

  • Use a different Apple ID to buy another Office subscription.

The message may appear if there are internet connection problems. Check your iPhone for connection problems and try the solutions provided in this Apple support page. If the internet connection is working, contact Microsoft support.
