Why are some or all of my messages missing from the Phone Link?
You may see missing messages in the Phone Link if you're using a third-party app as your primary messaging platform. Regular SMS and MMS messages will work as expected.
You may also need to make sure you have the latest version of the Phone Link. Update the app by going to the Microsoft Store app and checking for updates.
Note: You may experience delays while sending or syncing your messages if your network connection is slow.
RCS messaging (for select Samsung devices)
Can I send and receive RCS (Rich Communication Services) messages from the Phone Link?
Yes, but only select Samsung devices and mobile operator networks support RCS (advanced messaging).
Note: The Phone Link currently supports image downloads that are up to 2MB in size.
Why can’t I see if someone is typing, or has read the message I sent?
Currently, these features of RCS are not supported.
My Samsung device supports RCS but I can’t use it
RCS availability is determined by your mobile operator and location. RCS is also only supported if Samsung Messages is set as your default messaging app.
Note: RCS works on Phone Link when the phone's default message is Samsung Message.
If in doubt, please contact your mobile provider to see if RCS is supported.
Why are some or all of my messages missing from the Phone Link?
Missing messages in Phone Link may be due to the following issues:

your usage of third-party apps as your primary messaging platform.

your messages app is open on your iPhone®.

messages are sent from the phone directly while Phone Link is open.
At this time, only messages sent and received using Phone Link can be seen. Messages sent from your actual iPhone® will not show.
Why can't I see if someone is typing or if they have read my message?
Currently, these RCS features are not supported in Phone Link.
Why are texts sent from my actual iPhone® not showing up in Phone Link?
Currently, only messages sent and received while your iPhone® and PC are paired and connected can be seen in Phone Link.
Why can't I send group messages in Phone Link ?
Group messages are not currently supported.
Why do I see some of my group messages in my individual conversations?
When Phone Link can't determine if a message was sent to a group chat, it defaults to displaying that message in the conversation with the individual contact.
The responses to these messages will go to the individual sender, not the group chat.
How can I stop seeing my group messages in individual conversations?
To turn off this setting, follow these steps:

Navigate to Settings in Phone Link

Go to Features
-
Select Messages
-
Unselect Show messages to group chats in individual conversations
This will prevent group messages from appearing in individual conversations.
