This article describes Update Rollup 3 for Windows MultiPoint Server 2012. This update rollup resolves issues that were found in Windows MultiPoint Server 2012 after the software was released. This update rollup is highly recommended for all Windows MultiPoint Server 2012 customers.

Known issues that are fixed in this update rollup 

This update delivers enhanced stabilization for Windows MultiPoint Server 2012 Standard and Premium versions. Specific improvements included in this release are:

  • A resolution for the issue in which USB devices, including hubs and audio devices, were unavailable or in an error state at system startup.

  • A resolution for the issue in which MultiPoint Manager might show "invalid namespace root\virtualization” when you enable virtual desktops.

  • An improved speed of redirection for devices other than keyboards and mouse devices.
