Note Windows Embedded Compact supports the following registry path for configuration of key size for algorithms:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\KeyExchangeAlgorithmsFor example, you can add a DWORD value named ClientMinKeyBitLength to the following registry subkey:
Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\KeyExchangeAlgorithms\PKCS
Value Name: ClientMinKeyBitLength
Value Type: REG_DWORD
Value Data: 00000400

Prerequisites
This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.
Restart requirement
After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:

On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.

On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
You don't have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
