Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You have a Windows Server 2012 R2-based Hyper-V server that is running in a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) deployment environment. The server also has the Remote Desktop Virtualization Host (RD Virtualization Host) role installed.

The Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) files and the configuration files of the virtual machines are stored on a Server Message Block (SMB) server.

The Hyper-V server is restarted.
In this scenario, virtual machines are not enumerated in the Remote Desktop Connection Broker (RD Connection Broker).
Resolution
