3092627 September 2015 update to fix Windows or application freezes after you install security update 3076895
Note If you already have update 3092627 installed, you do not have to reinstall it.


After you install security update 3076895 (this update is described in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS15-084), you experience the following symptoms for the listed products.



Attachmate Secure IT File Transfer

Client doesn't load.

IBM Tivoli Storage Manager

Backup services may fail or freeze.
User logon freezes after you provide valid user credentials.

Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection (FEP)

Server freezes.
Applications freeze.

Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (Hosted only, On-Premises is not affected)

Policies aren't updated.
Client UI may not open.
The portal isn't updated with the status of the client.

Note Other software products that are not listed in this table may experience additional side effects.
