When a client computer calls the Getaddrinfo function to access a Windows Server 2012-based cluster to perform name-to-address transactions, there is a delay of two to three seconds for the accessing. Additionally, the DNS cache is cleared every 60 seconds if the client computer is a Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) node. Therefore, the delay frequently occurs.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the November 2014 update rollup for Windows RT, Windows 8, and Windows Server 2012.
