Important:Â When you delete a user, you'll permanently lose all settings, files, and data associated with that user.
Before continuing, follow these steps to back up everything you'd like to save.
Write down these steps because you won't be able to view them after switching between users.

Switch to the new user account. (You can't delete an account that you're currently signed in to.)

Select Start, and select your account icon (or picture) on the left.

Select Switch user and choose the new account.

Select Start > Settings > Account > Family & other people (or Other people).

Select the old user account, select Remove, and then select Delete account and data.
